Parish Education

 Baptism includes instruction and nurture in the faith for a life of discipleship.

"The parish education of the congregation is part of its baptismal ministry. Indeed, all of the baptized require lifelong learning, the daily reappropriation of the wonderful gifts given in Baptism."

Vacation Bible School is offered at Holden from 9AM to 3 PM on July 30 to August 2, 2018 . Children from Kindergarten to 6th grade are welcome. 
Women's Bible Study (Women of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America)  is held at 1:30 PM  on the second Thursday of the month. 
Men's Breakfast and Bible Study  (Lutheran Men in Mission) is held at Holden on the second Saturday of the month beginning at 8:00 AM.  
Confirmation classes are arranged with Pastor to meet student's needs, typically beginning when the student enters 7th grade. 
Classes for such things as preparations for baptism, first communion, marriage, and new membership may be arranged by speaking with Pastor.
